According to Le Xuan Hoang - Chairman of Cam Ranh Farmers Association, coconut broom making environmentally friendly, making use of local materials, creating jobs for many workers. Thanks to the job, the number of poor households has decreased significantly.

At present, the city has established a coconut broom association in Cam Thinh Dong commune. The Farmers' Association of Ho Chi Minh City has provided VND100 million in preferential loans from the Farmer Assistance Fund. Loans have been expanded to include more households involved in vocational training.
